Six players from Rathgama, Devapathiraja College have been selected for the Sri Lanka U19 Girls squad touring Australia for the upcoming tri-series with Australia and New Zealand.
Six players from Devapathiraja College in Rathgama include Sumudu Nisansala, Sanjana Kavindi, Rashmi Nethranjali, Hiruni Hansika, Shehara Induwari, and Nethagi Isuranjali.
Former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain TM Dilshan’s daughter Limansa Tilalkaratne who earlier this year arrived from Australia is also part of the Sri Lanka squad for the tour.
The squad will be captained by Manudi Nanayakkara of Prince of Wales college, Moratuwa.
The 16-member squad will compete in both T20 and 50-over matches, with the series set to begin on September 20, 2024. The tour has been approved by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
