The Sri Lankan Mission in Lebanon has issued a safety warning to Sri Lankans residing in the country, amidst the emergency that has arisen after thousands of blasts hit Hezbollah militants’ pagers and walkie-talkies this week.

Issuing a statement, the Sri Lankan Mission in Lebanon warned its citizens to temporarily refrain from visiting crowded places, public events, and long-distance tours.
The Sri Lankan Mission has also warned Sri Lankans to avoid using communication-related equipment during this period.
The Sri Lankan Embassy in Lebanon has also introduced several emergency hotlines to assist Sri Lankans in distress. (Newswire)
