Stafford Sri Lankan School-Doha [SSLSD] has been awarded the prestigious “Clear Flag” award at the Appreciation Level for the academic year 2023-2024.
According to the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Qatar, this recognition, given for achieving zero violations throughout the year, highlights the school’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence. The award ceremony is set to take place on 25 September 2024 at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Qatar acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the SSLSD in ensuring its compliance with all relevant regulations, despite numerous challenges. Under the close supervision of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Doha, the school has adhered strictly to the standards required by the host country.
Accordingly, one of the key measures implemented was a temporary halt on student admissions until full compliance with the National Student Information System [NSIS] was achieved. In that context, demonstrating its commitment to integrity, the Embassy did not exert any pressure on the school management to admit children of the Embassy staff.
This award stands as a testament to the dedication of the Embassy and the Board of Directors of the school in ensuring that Stafford Sri Lankan School Doha operates in full alignment with the rules and regulations of Qatar, setting a standard for excellence and transparency. (Newswire)
