Sajith Premadasa has won the Jaffna district, securing 121,177 votes, representing 32.60% of the total votes.
Tamil common candidate Ariyanethiran Pakkiyaselvam followed closely with 116,688 votes (31.39%).
Independent candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe received 84,558 votes, while Anura Kumara Dissanayake garnered 27,086 votes.
Out of 371,866 valid votes, a total of 25,353 votes were rejected in the Jaffna district. (Newswire)
