Major bust by Customs, nearly Rs. 100 million saved

Sri Lanka Customs has uncovered a massive illegal cigarette shipment, seizing over 4.1 million sticks valued at over Rs. 700 million. Officials stated that had the contraband gone undetected, the government would have lost nearly Rs. 100 million in tax revenue.
