Sri Lanka showcases its tourism potential at French travel fair

Sri Lanka made a strong impression at this year’s International French Travel Market (IFTM) in Paris, showcasing the island’s rich tourism offerings alongside 26 prominent companies and SriLankan Airlines. 

The Sri Lanka Pavilion was officially inaugurated by the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to France,  Manisha Gunasekara accompanied by the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Chalaka Gajabahu and esteemed industry representatives.

According to a Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau statement, the delegation highlighted Sri Lanka’s diverse tourist attractions, from its cultural heritage to natural beauty, positioning the destination as an attractive option for French travellers. 

The collaborative effort between the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Private sector reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the French travel market.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau says with Digital Marketing, Events participation, Public Relations, and Consumer Promotions, Sri Lanka continues to promote itself as a destination not to be missed. (Newswire)
