Indian Actor Govinda has accidentally shot himself in the leg with his licensed revolver on Tuesday morning.
The actor was hospitalised after he suffered a bullet injury on his leg at his home, Mumbai Police have said. However the actor is out of danger, it was reported.
The injury was caused around 4.45 am due to a misfire from his licensed revolver. He was alone at home at the time of the incident.
Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha told news agency ANI that the 60-year-old actor, also a Shiv Sena leader, was getting ready to leave for Kolkata.
He was attempting to store his revolver in its case, when he accidentally dropped it, and the weapon discharged.
“The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now,” Mr Sinha said. (NDTV)
