Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry has returned to his legal profession, following the recent regime change.
Ali Sabry shared a photograph on social media with his team from the legal profession, with the statement “Feels good to be back where I belong”.
Speaking to Newswire, the former minister confirmed that he will not be contesting the upcoming Parliamentary Election.
Ali Sabry, a key member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) party, entered Parliament through the National List.
He served as the Minister of Justice and Foreign Affairs under the former governments of both Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickremesinghe. (Newswire)
