A 34-year-old man was reported dead after being attacked with a sharp object in the Badovita area in Mount Lavinia last afternoon.
The victim, a resident of Badovita, had died upon admission to the Kalubowila Hospital.
Investigations have revealed that the victim had engaged in an argument with two others over a private dispute, after which the two suspects had attacked him with a sharp object, resulting in his death.
