The Overall Rate of Inflation, as measured by the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI), has decreased to -0.2% in September 2024.
According to the Department of Census and Statistics, the decrease in September is compared to the 1.1% reported in August 2024.
Food inflation has also decreased to 0.5% in September 2024, compared to the 2.3% recorded in August this year.
Non-food inflation has decreased to -0.7% in September from the 0.2% reported in August 2024.
