Sri Lanka reported $587.7 million in foreign worker remittances for October 2024, a 13.6% increase over the $517.4 million received in October 2023.
From January to October 2024, total remittances reached $5,431.5 million, marking an 11.7% increase from $4,862.5 million in the same period of 2023.
Notably, each month in 2024 has shown higher remittance inflows than the corresponding month in 2023, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. (NewsWire)
