A Police officer has sustained injuries after an elevator collapsed at an apartment complex in Colombo yesterday, it was reported.
The elevator had collapsed in ‘Block D’ of the Muwadora Uyana apartment complex in Grandpass.
The incident is reported to have occurred around 1.30 am on Monday (Nov 11).
The injured Police Constable had been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital following the incident. (Newswire)
