Voting for the 2024 General Election has officially concluded.
Voting got underway at 13,421 polling centres across the country from 07.00 am to 04.00 pm today
The 2024 General Election was held to elect Members of Parliament for the Tenth Parliament of Sri Lanka.
Through this election, a total of 225 Members of Parliament will be elected, comprising 196 members elected by public vote and 29 members entering through the National List.
The inaugural session of the Tenth Parliament of Sri Lanka is scheduled to commence at 10.00 am on 21 November 2024. (Newswire)
