A 47-year-old man was reported dead after being struck by lightning in the Diwulwewa area in Medawachchiya yesterday.
The Police said the man had been struck by lightning while engaging in farming.
He had succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Medawachchiya Hospital.
The Medawachchiya Police is conducting investigations into the incident. (Newswire)
