A 21-year-old boy has died after knocking into a utility pole by the side of the railway track while travelling on the footboard of a train last morning.
The Police said the victim had been travelling on a train plying from Polgahawela to Colombo and had met with the accident in the Kiribathgoda area.
The deceased has been identified as a 21-year-old resident of Ganemulla.
The Kiribathgoda Police has launched investigations into the incident. (Newswire)
