A van belonging to a Cash in Transit service, carrying approximately Rs. 75 million, was carjacked yesterday (18) in Minuwangoda. The van’s driver is suspected of orchestrating the theft.
Police have launched an extensive search operation and are seeking public assistance to locate the suspect and recover the stolen money.
