Three arrested over Kush Cannabis parcels in Central Mail Exchange

Three persons have been arrested over two parcels containing 10.2 kilos of Kush Cannabis that had been sent to the Central Mail Exchange in Colombo. 

The Police said the parcels had been sent to Sri Lanka from Thailand via courier service.

Two suspects who had arrived at the Central Mail Exchange to collect the parcel and another individual who had aided them have been arrested. 

They were arrested during a joint raid conducted by officials from the Police Anti-Narcotics Bureau and Sri Lanka Customs. 

The arrested suspects are aged 33, 36, and 48 years old and are residents of Padukka, Homagama, and  Kalutara South. 

The Police Anti-Narcotics Bureau is conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
