A Quo Warranto application has been filed against Jaffna district MP Dr. Archchuna Ramanathan seeking his disqualification as an MP.
The application was filed by public interest litigant Oshala Herath stating that MP Dr. Ramanathan disqualifies to be an MP, as he has not resigned from his post as a medical officer.
The matter came up before the Court of Appeal today, and was fixed for support on January 15, 2025.
