A 14-year-old girl was reported dead due to electrocution in the Nawagattegama area last night.
The Police said the child had attempted to use an electric blender using an illegally obtained electricity connection during which she had been electrocuted.
The child was pronounced dead after being admitted to the Puttalam Hospital. The Nawagattegama Police is conducting investigations. (Newswire)
