The All Share Price Index (ASPI) has reached yet another milestone surpassing the 16,000 mark today (02 Jan).
According to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), the ASPI made 16,141.71, gaining 197.10 points (1.24%) in morning trade.
A turnover of Rs. 2.5 billion has been reported as of now.
Previously, the CSE reported that it achieved a 49.66% growth in 2024 with the ASPI rising from 10,654.16 to 15,944.61 points.
The CSE added that Market Capitalization reached its highest-ever value of Rs. 5.69 trillion. (Newswire)
