Dollar rate in Sri Lanka today

The Sri Lankan Rupee remains steady against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (Jan 02), compared to Wednesday.

At Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 289 to Rs. 289.25 and from Rs. 296 to Rs. 296.25, respectively.

According to NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 289.50 to Rs. 289.40 and the selling rate from Rs. 299.50 to Rs. 299.40.

Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar as Rs. 287.86 and Rs. 298.19, respectively.

At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 287.62 to Rs. 287.39, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 297.50 to Rs. 297.25.

According to Sampath Bank, the buying has increased from Rs. 289.25 to Rs. 289.25, while the selling rate is unchanged at Rs. 297.25. (Newswire)
