Dollar rate in Sri Lanka today

The Sri Lankan Rupee remains steady against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (Jan 03), compared to Thursday.

At Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 289.25 and Rs. 296.25, respectively.

According to NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 289.40 to Rs. 289.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 299.40 to Rs. 299.50.

Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 287.86 to Rs. 287.81 and from Rs. 298.19 to Rs. 298.14, respectively.

At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 287.39 to Rs. 287.43, while the selling rate is unchanged at Rs. 297.25.

According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 289.25 and Rs. 297.25, respectively. (Newswire)
