Taavi Samaraweera, a student from St. Thomas College, Mt. Lavenia has achieved an impressive 11th place in the world table tennis rankings in the Under-11 category. This marks the highest world ranking ever achieved by a Sri Lankan table tennis player, regardless of age or gender, making it a significant milestone in the country’s table tennis history.
In addition to this achievement, Taavi also secured the 67th position in the world rankings for the Under-13 category, showcasing his exceptional talent and potential.
