The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (Jan 07), compared to Monday.
At Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 291 and Rs. 298, respectively.
According to NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 291.50 to Rs. 292.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 301.50 to Rs. 302.50.
Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 289.53 to Rs. 291 and from Rs. 299.92 to Rs. 301.44, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 288.17 to Rs. 289.66 and the selling rate from Rs. 298 to Rs. 299.50.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 290 to Rs. 292.25 and from Rs. 298 to Rs. 300.25, respectively. (Newswire)
