Janith Madushanka, known as “Podi Lassi,” a prominent drug trafficker and organized crime figure, was arrested in Mumbai, India, authorities said.
The arrest was carried out by Interpol, and Sri Lankan authorities have been informed, according to police headquarters.
Madushanka, who was recently released on bail, was subject to a travel ban until his next court date. However, police investigations revealed that he had fled the country illegally, violating his bail conditions. (NewsWire)
