The Maradana Police have reported that a 32-year-old woman in their custody died by suicide in the early hours of today (Jan 22).
The woman from Vavuniya, who was taken into custody yesterday (Jan 21), is said to have taken her life around 4:00 am while being held in the police detention cell.
