The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (Jan 22) compared to Tuesday.
At Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 292.60 to Rs. 293.25 and from Rs. 300.60 to Rs. 301.25, respectively.
According to NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar remains unchanged at Rs. 293.50 and the selling rate at Rs. 303.50.
Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 291.74 to Rs. 292.48 and from Rs. 302.21 to Rs. 302.97, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 291. 47 to Rs. 292.47 and the selling rate from Rs. 301 to Rs. 302.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 293 to Rs. 293.75 and from Rs. 301 to Rs. 301.75, respectively. (Newswire)
