Sri Lanka Police will implement special traffic plans from tomorrow (Jan 29) in view of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, to be commemorated on 04th February.
According to the Police, the special traffic arrangements will be in place from tomorrow (Jan 29) until 02 February 2025.
Special traffic plans will be in place from 06.00 am to 12.00 pm during this period surrounding the Independence Square in Colombo.
Motorists have been requested to adhere to the following traffic arrangements;
- Alternative roads to leave Colombo City:
- Roads closed/ traffic restricted
- Alternative roads to enter Colombo City
