The Coconut Cultivation Board plans to reorganize the Kapruka Fund’s Management Committees to expand coconut cultivation across the country.
Chairman Dr. Sunimal Jayakody said that the first phase of this initiative will commence in the Gampaha District on February 17.
Accordingly, 2.5 million coconut seedlings are prepared to be planted this month.
He added that the reorganization will align with the Kapruka loan scheme and will be implemented in the coming months. (Newswire)
