Mainly fair weather is expected across most parts of the island, the Department of Meteorology said.
However, some areas in the Nuwara Eliya district may experience ground frost in the early hours of the morning.
Misty conditions are likely in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces, as well as in the Galle, Matara, Badulla, and Kurunegala districts during the morning.
Sea areas around the island will also experience mainly fair weather.
Winds will be north-easterly at speeds of 30 to 40 kmph, with occasional increases up to 50 kmph in the sea areas off the coast from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
