A man was killed in Haldanduwana, Chilaw, after being hit by a vehicle belonging to Puttalam District NPP MP Mohamed Faisal.
The vehicle, which was en route to Parliament, was driven by a relative of the MP at the time of the accident.
The driver has been arrested, and investigations are underway. (Newswire)
