Police Media Spokesman SSP Buddhika Manatunga reaffirmed that a foreign travel ban has been imposed on Daisy Forrest in connection with the ongoing money laundering investigation involving Yoshitha Rajapaksa.
Earlier, attorney-at-law Premanath Dolawatte told the media that the Kaduwela Magistrate had stated no such travel ban was in place. He further alleged that the police spokesman had committed an offense by disclosing information not ordered by the court.
Speaking to the media on Saturday (15), SSP Manatunga maintained that he had stated the actual facts and confirmed that a foreign travel ban had been obtained against Daisy Forrest, which remains in effect. (NewsWire)
