Police have sought public assistance to apprehend a suspect, wanted in connection to a shooting incident in the Ambalangoda area in November 2024.
According to the Police, two gunmen on a motorcycle had shot dead a man and a woman who had been travelling on a motorcycle in the Urawatte area along the Galle- Colombo main road on 10 November 2024.
Investigations by the Ambalangoda Police had led to the identification of one suspect, a resident of the Batapola Police Division, but the suspect is reported to have fled the area.
