The Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) has issued an order making drug testing compulsory for all Police personnel who are to rejoin active duty after being inactive for any reason, including suspension.
According to the Police Department, all high-ranking Police officials, including OICs, have been informed in this regard.
As such, all police personnel who are to rejoin active duty are to undergo mandatory drug testing at the Police Hospital.
The Acting IGP has further instructed that any Police personnel found to have used drugs will not be enlisted in the Police Force. (Newswire)
