An Indian national has been arrested at the Katunayake Airport for smuggling 1.908 kilos of Kush Cannabis concealed inside a small punching bag.
According to the Police, the 73-year-old Indian had arrived from Bangkok, Thailand this morning.
The suspect is said to have concealed the Kush Cannabis in candy packets packed inside the punching bag.
He was arrested following a raid conducted by Police Anti-Narcotics officials at the BIA, based on a tip-off. (Newswire)
