A 38-year-old woman has been arrested at the Katunayake Airport for the possession of 1.2 kilos of Kush Cannabis worth Rs. 12 million.
According to Sri Lanka Customs officials, the woman had smuggled the narcotics concealed in food packets.
She had arrived in Sri Lanka from Hong Kong via Bangkok, Thailand.
The suspect has been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations. (Newswire)
