A tense situation was reported opposite the Central Bank in Colombo today with a demonstration organized by victims of the Onmax DT pyramid scheme.
The agitated demonstrators who confronted Police officers deployed to the scene, alleged that the President has failed to get rid of corruption.
“Even these officials at the Central Bank are corrupt. There’s not a single person to come out and speak to us,” one protestor said. (Newswire)
