Officers of the Western Province North Crimes Division seized a T-56 firearm, a magazine, and 22 rounds of ammunition from the Mahaheena Cemetery in Yagodamulla, Gampaha during a raid on February 26, 2025.
The operation was part of an island wide crackdown on crime and drug-related activities under the directives of the Acting Inspector General of Police. The seizure followed a tip-off received by the division. (Newswire)
