A 24-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to aiding the shooting on Nagalagam Road in Grandpass recently in which two persons were injured.
According to the Police, unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle had opened fire injuring two persons in Grandpass on 17 March.
Investigations into the incident led to the arrest of a suspect on 18 March by officials from the Battaramulla STF camp.
Further investigations have led to the arrest of the suspect’s wife yesterday on charges of aiding the shooting.
