Sri Lanka has expressed concern over the situation in Gaza.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism called on all sides to avoid any action that would lead to further escalation.
The Ministry stated that Sri Lanka is hopeful that sustainable peace will be established in the region soon.
