Former Deputy Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan, widely known as Karuna Amman, and former State Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, known as Pillayan, have joined the newly formed Eastern Tamil Alliance ahead of the upcoming Local Government elections.
The alliance was recently launched by former State Minister Sathasivam Viyalendran with a focus on contesting the polls in the Eastern Province.
An agreement confirming Muralitharan’s inclusion in the alliance was signed today (22) at a private hotel in Batticaloa. (NewsWire)
