Minister of Transport Bimal Ratnayake says toll fees on all expressways can be paid using debit or credit cards starting from May 1.
A pilot project is already operational at the Kottawa and Kadawatha exits, and the system is being tested for full implementation.
The Minister added that the goal is to complete each payment within 8 seconds to reduce delays at toll gates. (Newswire)
