Police have seized a lorry transporting over 100kg of heroin and ICE (crystal methamphetamine) during a raid in Kudawella, Tangalle.
The narcotics were discovered during a search operation conducted by law enforcement officers on Saturday (13). Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the smuggling attempt.
Authorities are conducting further investigations to identify the source and intended destination of the drugs.
