Police have seized a massive stock of heroin and ICE narcotics valued at approximately Rs. 800 million during a raid carried out at a residence in Nagahamulla, Kotikawatte.
According to police, the raid resulted in the recovery of 13 kilograms and 372 grams of heroin along with 3 kilograms and 580 grams of ICE (crystal methamphetamine).
A 27-year-old male was taken into custody in connection with the seizure. Further investigations are currently underway.
The operation was conducted based on intelligence received, and authorities believe the narcotics were intended for large-scale distribution. (Newswire)
