France and Saudi Arabia have agreed on a $7 billion (€6 billion) project to develop a Dragon Ball Z-inspired theme park near Paris.
The project, planned near Cergy-Pontoise northwest of the French capital, will be financed by Saudi entertainment and investment group Qiddiya.
The development is expected to create around 22,000 jobs and will form part of a larger entertainment destination featuring three theme parks.
The project draws inspiration from Dragon Ball, the globally popular Japanese manga and anime franchise created by Akira Toriyama.
No opening date has been announced, with several details of the development still to be finalized. (Newswire)
