Seven people were injured in a powerful explosion at the National Nephrology Hospital in Polonnaruwa early Saturday (Sept. 26).
The explosion occurred inside the hospital kitchen, reports said.
The blast caused extensive damage to the hospital building. The injured hospital employees were admitted to Polonnaruwa Hospital for treatment.
Hospital sources said three of the injured are in serious condition. (Newswire)
