Sri Lanka Navy officials have been commended for their assistance in the timely evacuation of an Indian soldier for medical reasons in Trincomalee.
The Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka said the evacuated individual was an Indian Navy sailor of INS Sahyadri (F49), a Shivalik-class stealth multi-role frigate.
“Timely and swift assistance from @srilanka_navy enabled medical evacuation of @indiannavy sailor of INS Sahyadri at Trincomalee. Another illustration of the goodwill and the spirit of camaraderie between our forces,” the Indian High Commission said, via a post on ‘X’. (NewsWire)
