A new initiative to offer electric vehicle charging stations at multiple Cargills Retail locations was launched in Colombo on Thursday (Mar 21).
According to Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera, the ‘Charge while you shop’ initiative was launched in support of Sri Lanka’s transition to electric mobility.
The minister further said that the project is implemented by Cargills in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The initiative was officially launched at the Cargils outlet on Baudhaloka Mawatha together by Minister Kanchana Wijesekera and US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung. (NewsWire)
