The Ministry of Education expects to continue the academic activities of primary students in January 2024 alongside the scheduled 2023 GCE Advanced Level Examinations, Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha said.
According to an Education Ministry statement, Minister Premajayantha said that the measure will be taken even though the Advanced Level Examinations have been postponed to January next year.
The Education Minister further said that they also expect to complete the backlogged syllabuses within the next year.
School holidays may be shortened in 2024 due to the need to complete the backlogged syllabuses, he added. (NewsWire)
