An unidentified body was recovered from the Galle Face beach in Colombo yesterday (Oct 10), the Police stated.
According to the Police, the body is assumed to be that of a male aged between 35-40 years.
The individual was found with a shaved head, while the Police had also recovered a maroon colour robe in the vicinity.
The Police said it is assumed that the deceased may be a monk. The Fort Police is conducting investigations. (NewsWire)
